Alex Márquez: “At the Jerez GP I will enjoy and learn”

Alex Márquez has recovered brilliantly from the fiasco that meant leaving the first test of the CEV Buckler held in Jerez with a zero in the box due to the breakage of the engine of his Honda Monlau, with a solo victory in the Circuit of Navarre, after to score a fast lap of 1: 48.051, better than his own pole, set yesterday at 1: 48.528.

Thus the Cervera driver explained his career: “From the beginning I knew I had a good pace, what I did not know is if I could escape, I went well and at the beginning I was a bit with the group but Medina came very strong , so I’ve passed it and I’ve decided to pull hard. At the beginning it was raining something and I did not know if they would stop the race, but it stopped and the pace was very strong, I rode faster than on the pole and I am very happy. ”

As for the change from 125cc to Moto3 he declared: “I feel very comfortable with both, but with the Moto3 I have a little more ‘feeling'”

The little one of the Márquez is also in doors of a very special event in his career; the dispute next week of his first Grand Prix, and not just any, the Spanish Grand Prix in Jerez, where he will know what it is to run with more than 120,000 cheering from the stands.

This is what the Monlau driver says about that race: “Next week it’s about going and enjoying a lot, because not every day you have the opportunity to be there, to see what happens … but above all it’s about enjoying and to learn”

An experience without a doubt that will always remember but that does not hide that his real goal this season is to achieve the first Moto3 title in the history of CEV Buckler, where he is fourth, with 25 points, 8 points behind the provisional leader Philipp Ottl.
